Garbage Pickup
Garbage should be bagged & tied, and placed within customer-provided carts or cans.
Once per week.
Non-hazardous municipal solid waste, no construction material or yard waste.

Recycling
95-Gallon Cart (yellow lid)
One (1) single-stream recycling cart.
BiWeekly

Plastics (#s 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7); steel food containers, aluminum cans and bakeware; mixed paper (such as newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, drink cartons; fiberboard and flattened cardboard (2 ft x 3 ft or smaller); and green, brown, or clear glass bottles and jars (without lids).

items should be clean, empty, and dry. Do NOT put recycling in plastic bags. Keep paper items together by putting into paper bags or empty fiberboard/cardboard boxes
Yard Waste Pickup
Five (5) cubic yard limit per week — roughly 30, 32-gallon garbage bags.
Once a week.
Must be completely natural and vegetative. NO manufactured wood material, such as plywood and NO treated or painted wood, such as fencing or landscape timbers.
No single item or container can weigh more than forty (40) lbs.
Limbs, logs and stumps must be five (5) feet or less in length and less than six (6) inches in diameter.
Bulk Waste Pickup
Collected weekly with your garbage.
Objects too big for the garbage cart, e.g., toilets, sinks, mattresses, carpet, and fencing.
Safe for two people to lift.

White Goods / Appliance Pickup
Must be scheduled in advance by calling (904)630-CITY (2489) or online at MyJax.CustHelp.com.
Call for details.
Appliance doors must be securely closed or detached, with food and materials removed. Tire collection is limited to four (4) standard vehicle tires, with or without rims.
