Materials Accepted:

Plastics (label #s 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7); glass, aluminum and steel cans; mixed paper (newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, etc.); tissue boxes, cereal boxes, and other clean fiberboard items; and corrugated cardboard (flattened).

Container: Contractor-approved rolling container, such as a repurposed Oakland branded 65–gallon recycle container, or biodegradable paper bags or bundles. Upon resident request, Meridian will provide one 95- or 65-gallon rolling cart at no additional charge.

Quantity: Maximum combined ten (10) bags (biodegradable paper), bundles (tie with natural fiber twine), carts or containers, per week, no more than 60 lb. each. Bundled stacks of limbs and brush must be less than 18" in diameter and 4' in length.

Frequency: Once per week.

Materials Accepted: Leaves, grass, limbs and branches (bundled) less than 4' in length or 6" in diameter.

Weight Limits: 60 lb. per can, bag or bundle.

Frequency: One item per week at no cost and must be scheduled in advance. Additional items are $25 per item. Call Customer Care to schedule at (314) 291-3131.

Materials Accepted: Large items like toilets, sinks, mattresses, carpet, furniture, large toys, bicycles and other similar items.

Weight Limits: 60 lbs.

Materials Accepted: Stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.

Weight Limits: Ability for two (2) people to lift.
