Meridian Waste Florida Holds Jacksonville Job Fair with On-Site Hiring

WHO: Meridian Waste Florida LLC,  an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, is hosting a job fair with on-site interviews and on-the-spot hiring, Saturday, August 21. 

WHAT/WHY: Meridian Waste Florida begins serving the City of Jacksonville on Friday, October 1 with residential solid municipal waste and recycling collection and is augmenting its fleet by hiring new employees in every sector of the company’s specializations.

“Meridian Waste Florida is proud to serve the City of Jacksonville in commercial and residential lines of business. We are hiring new talent immediately to help us make the community cleaner and greener,” said Area President Dave Shepler. “We are hiring throughout the region and have opportunities for employment at our Jacksonville and Nassau County facilities.”

Open positions that require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are for the residential, front-end loader, or roll-off drivers. Other open positions includecollection helpers, mechanics, dispatchers, customer care representatives, sales team members, and more.
