Public invited to festivities, including inflatable games, truck-or-treat walk, free lunch, and more.
WHO: Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company and the Lunenburg Landfill are opening its gates for the Fall Fun Fest.
WHAT: Event activities include pumpkin painting, inflatable bounce house and obstacle course, face painting, corn hole, hayride tours, truck-or-treat walk. Costumes are encouraged. BBQ lunch will be provided for free to all attendees. RSVP appreciated.

WHAT: Meridian Waste is hosting the company’s second annual Lunenburg Landfill Fall Fun Fest. The event is free and open to the public to view the environmental facility and enjoy festivities.
The landfill is home to various local wildlife, including bald eagles, blue jays, newts, foxes, deer, and many butterflies. The Lunenburg Landfill provides a vital infrastructure asset to Lunenburg County by offering free disposal to its citizens at multiple community drop-off centers. In addition, the landfill is one of the top revenue-producing properties in the municipality with quarterly host fee payments and annual property taxes to benefit the County’s treasury and local citizens.
