Summer Fun at Meridian Waste’s Splash Bash August 3rd
Meridian Waste welcomes the community to cool down with a free family-oriented event
WHO: Meridian Waste North Carolina LLC, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, celebrates the end of summer and the start of the new school year with family-friendly activities for all ages on Saturday, August 3.
WHAT/WHY: Meridian Waste North Carolina is observing the end of summer at Shotwell Environmental Park by inviting neighbors, local schools, non-profits and civic organizations to the company’s environmental facility to enjoy fun in the sun while sharing the company's appreciation with the surrounding community.
Activities will include Meridian Waste’s signature Touch-A-Truck display, where attendees can touch the trucks and heavy machinery used in the environmental services industry. Other activities will include:
- Free hot dogs, hamburgers, and frozen treats for all attendees
- Inflatable water slide and obstacle course
- Slip & slide
- Bubble station
- Hayride landfill & MRF tours
- Corn hole
