Meridian Waste's Bridgeton Facility is proud to announce that Franklin County garbage route driver Joe Dunn was given a service award by the City of Parkway in special recognition for his dedication and service to the keep the Village clean and safe. The award was presented on Thursday, September 26, at Village Hall by Lynnette Busse.
The plaque reads: “Presented to Joe Dunn for your exceptional performance, dedication, professionalism and compassion above and beyond the call of duty to the residents and community of the Village of Parkway September 2019.”
“Our team members work hard daily to ensure a clean and healthy environment for our customers and the community as a whole,” stated Bob Mathis, Missouri Area President. “To have Joe recognized by the Village of Parkway is an honor both for Joe and the Meridian Waste Team. Joe is a shining example of stellar customer care, commitment to quality, a positive attitude and pride in a job well done. I thank the Village for their recognition of Joe and for their many years of business with The Company.”
Joe Dunn is a rear-load garbage truck Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) driver with over 20 years of industry experience, the last two have been with Meridian Waste. He is the father of one child. When not cleaning up the communities he serves, Joe enjoys riding his motorcycle. In addition to the recognition received by the Village of Parkway, Joe will receive a Meridian Waste Shout Out Award along with a gift certificate to Walmart.
