Meridian Waste shares garbage truck safety and operational tips to special needs school children as part of the Community Helpers Civic Involvement campaign.

"Kids love to see all the moving parts of the truck and to learn the importance of being part of a clean community," said Marty Kelly, Meridian Waste Facilities Manager.

Also assisting in the presentation to Wildlight Elementary School's Access Point Classes was Ricky Rochester, Meridian Waste Residential Supervisor.
