Here you will find a selection of our stories from the communities we serve and the environmental heroes who are part of the Meridian Waste team.
Meet Jimmy Murray! In April 2020, he received seven (7!) Shout Outs from the community sharing his excellent work with the company. He's an example of going above and beyond for the communities he serves, helping to keep them clean & green - while going that extra mile. We've heard from customers letting us know that he's retrieved and returned their garbage carts for them when they've forgotten to put them out; cleaned up yards from forgotten materials or blown over carts; and how he smiles and engages in conversations with children who just love Garbage Day!
Jimmy is one of our many dedicated employees who takes pride in his work and cares for his community. We know many, many good deeds go unrecognized for all of us every day, and we appreciate the effort of our customers to pass along the good word.
