Meridian Waste Missouri Adopts a Family - Part 2

We love being a part of our communities. Smiling faces, happy children who love the rumble of the garbage truck, and knowing we keep our communities clean and green - it's truly enough for us.

Over the 2019 holiday season, Meridian Waste Missouri participated in the Adopt a Family program through the Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service. We received this note today, January 7, 2020, and it has warmed our hearts beyond any measure.

(The Mother*) said the children had the best Christmas they had had in years. She was in tears talking about how they had been blessed. (The Mother) shared that before Christmas her eight-year old did not believe in Santa Claus. After the surprise of presents on Christmas morning he did. He said he believed because he knew his parents could not afford to get him any presents much less all that he got. So Santa had to be real. She (The Mother) did not go into additional detail, but I can tell you that you and your team blessed this family more than they ever thought possible or expected.

This captured the spirit of our Meridian Waste family and we could not be prouder to be part of the team that made a difference for this family.
