Even a year ago, a drive-thru Easter Basket event wasn't in the realm of possibility. But with the teamwork, vision, and partnership of the East Wake Education Foundation, it was a smashing Springtime 2021 Success!

Through the drive-thru event, 48 families enjoyed Easter baskets and were reunited with their East Wake Education Foundation (EWEF) support staff. The EWEF sent this heartfelt thank you note to our team - to which we can honestly, from the bottom of our hearts, say - it was our pleasure!

The EWEF provides education and family engagement services for infants through age eight, including parents, grandparents, and caretakers. Activities work to improve listening skills, follow directions, socialize, and develop gross and fine motor skills. All activities and practices learned are encouraged to be carried out in the home. Services are free and supported by community donations and grants.
