Meridian Waste to fill a 40-yard container with food for those in need in greater St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, Mo., (January 14, 2020) – Meridian Waste Missouri, LLC, a subsidiary ofMeridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, is asking for the community’s help to feed those in need by stocking the shelves of The Lake Food Pantry serving Lincoln, St. Charles, and Warren Counties.
40 Yards to Feed the Community is a Meridian Waste initiative to help fortify the reserves of local food pantries to feed individuals and families. The Company teams up with local food pantries in the communities in which they serve to help their neighbors in need. The measurement of a 40-yard roll-off container from Meridian Waste can collect approximately 23,000-pounds of food or 19,000 meals. The Lake Food Pantry is in need of non-perishable foods and is collecting through donations Saturday, January 30, 2021. Items needed include, but are not limited to:
Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Canned Meats, Rice, Beans, Boxed Mac & Cheese, Cereal, Oatmeal, Grits, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Hamburger Helper, Instant Potatoes, Soups, Chili, Rice/Noodle Dinner Mixes, Pasta Noodles, Pasta Sauce, Canned Pasta, Pancake Mix, Cake Mix, Icing, Boxed Pudding, Cookies, Graham Crackers.
