Meridian Waste celebrated its frontline workers during Waste & Recycling Workers Week, that falls in June, National Safety Month.
Meridian Waste has over 400 employees and operates in seven states with 23 facilities. Essential services provided by the Company range from residential waste and recycling hauling and operating transfer stations and landfills.
During Waste & Recycling Workers Week, we highlighted workplace safety and rewarded our frontline workers for their safety practices in our facilities and out in the field. Each frontline employee received a bonus gift card based on their safety record. Each qualifying employee received something, and those practicing workplace safety will come out on top.
Each facility has planned something extra special to say thank you to our employees. Activities included appreciation breakfasts, food truck drop-ins, and ice cream.
