On June 16, celebrating National Waste and Recycling Workers Week, Meridian Waste Tennessee treated its customers, drivers, crews, and local dignitaries to lunch from Backwoods BBQ and tours of PoplarView C&D Landfill.

With guests coming and going, we were able to meet, greet, and break bread with the familiar faces we see each day on their stop through the landfill.

After the event, the staff drew the winners of the raffle prizes:

Eddie Taylor won the grand prize: Johnny Morris platinum Baitcast Combo fishing rod and reel.
