Meridian Waste Acquisitions, LLC is proud to announce for the fifth year in a row that the company’s Nassau County, Fla. hauling operations has been picked by the Nassau County Record as its Readers’ Choice Award for Best Trash Company. The award was announced on Wednesday, June 26th, in the weekly print and electronic publication of the Nassau County Record after hundreds of ballots were submitted by Nassau County citizens. In addition to asking them to select the best trash company for residential and commercial collection and disposal services, citizens were asked to pick from various other categories, the awardees for which can be found throughout the publication here: https://www.nassaucountyrecord.com/magazines

“This is a true honor for our team members at our Meridian Waste Nassau County hauling location,” stated Florida Area President Dave Shepler when learning of the award for 2024. “Our team of environmental service professionals are proud of the work they perform daily to ensure a cleaner and greener Nassau County as well as additional communities, including the cities of Callahan, Baldwin and MacClenny [and] Camden and Charlton Counties, Ga. Our staff live in the communities in which we serve and call their customers neighbors and friends. It is this difference that allows Meridian Waste to continue to provide excellent customer care and earn the Nassau County Readers’ annual Best Trash Company award year after year,” he continued.

Additionally, Meridian Waste was recently awarded a multi-year garbage and recycling contract for Wildlight Residential Association, with a start date of today, July 1, 2024. Wildlight is Nassau County’s largest master- planned development community, with 15,000 to 24,000 residential homes expected to be built and serviced by Meridian Waste over the term of the contract.
