Helping Out Gets Its Rewards

Meridian Waste - Triad Hauling and the Tri-Corners-Corners Landfill participated as a Bronze Sponsor in the VFW of Alamance County’s annual fundraising golf tournament the first weekend of June. While our team of golfer did not bring home the winning trophy, participating in the event was a wonder way to show our appreciation to the VFW for their help earlier this Spring when ten VFW volunteers assisted with the inaugural Tri-Corners landfill Fishing Rodeo! The VFW volunteers helped assemble 50 kids fishing poles and greeted our fishing rodeo participants and guests as they registered for the rodeo and for the day’s events.

We were happy to be a part of the VFW’s fundraising efforts and always enjoy supporting our veterans - especially in honor of this year’s D-Day 80th anniversary!
