Garbage Men & Women Doing Good in the Community
Here you will find a selection of our stories from the communities we serve and the environmental heroes who are part of the Meridian Waste team.
The Spring weather brings many wonderful things to the Triad region including plans for this year’s 2nd annual Tri-Corner Landfill’s Fishing Rodeo! The event this year will take place on Saturday, May 17th from 9am - 1pm.
The best part of the planning process is when our landfill and hauling company partners, such as Couch Oil, want in on the fun and to support the local community, too. This is exactly what happened today when David Pierce, Couch Oil’s Director of Sales, appeared on our doorstep with 50 youth fishing poles to give to us for distribution at the event. These fishing poles will be donated to the first 50 boys or girls who sign up online for the Fishing Rodeo. (However - hold your horses - registration doesn’t open until April 17th!)
Meridian Waste and our team of waste professionals truly love our Alamance County community especially with partners like Couch Oil!! We are excited to be planning this year’s Fishing Rodeo, and we expect a crowd even bigger than last year’s 700+ guests!! Keep your eyes open for the announcement of the Opening of Registration for the Fishing Rodeo on our website MeridianWaste.com and on Facebook!
