Garbage Men & Women Doing Good in the Community
Here you will find a selection of our stories from the communities we serve and the environmental heroes who are part of the Meridian Waste team.
On February 20, Meridian Waste proudly took part in Clemson University's 2025 Spring Career Fair, hosted by the Center for Career and Professional Development at Littlejohn Coliseum. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., our team – consisting of Jenny Gum (NC-based Area Sales Rep), Grayson Seymore (SC-based General Manager), and Daniel Gossett (SC-based Area Sales Rep) – welcomed students eager to learn about what we do and explore their options in the waste management industry.
A special thanks goes to Tammy Stenstrom, Meridian Waste's Director of Revenue and Customer Relations, for scheduling the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Thanks to her coordination, our booth was a popular stop for students discussing how Meridian Waste's work could align with their career goals.
Throughout the afternoon, we met promising undergraduates and soon-to-be graduates who showed genuine excitement about the possibilities within our company. We collected numerous resumes and were impressed by Clemson's talent and enthusiasm. It was the perfect opportunity to highlight our culture, growth, and dedication to customer service.
Meridian Waste extends its gratitude to Clemson's Center for Career and Professional Development for hosting a successful career fair. We look forward to seeing new Tigers join our team in the future – and can't wait to watch them thrive in our innovative and fast-paced industry!
