Meridian Waste North Carolina is observing the end of summer at Shotwell Environmental Park by inviting neighbors, local schools, non-profits and civic organizations to the company’s environmental facility to enjoy fun in the sun while sharing the company's appreciation with the surrounding community.

Mary O’Brien, Meridian Waste’s Chief Marketing Officer, served up hundreds of hot meals along with other local business and non-profit leaders to a portion of Jacksonville‘s homeless population in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Clara White Mission’s Miracle on Ashley Street. Meridian Waste participated as a sponsor and the company’s donated trash containers were a much needed asset to help clean up lunch!
Springfest’s purpose is to provide a family-friendly environment to allow neighbors and community members to visit the disposal facility, learn how waste is properly managed to protect the natural environment, and have fun.
Meridian Waste partnered with North Carolina Developer & Construction Firm, Samet Corporation, for their annual Safety Lunch hosted at Claxton Elementary School in Greensboro, NC as part of Samet’s Safety week celebration.
