Lunenburg Landfill

Lunenburg Landfill: Cell 2 under construction, adding 10 acres of disposal footprint to the site. In addition, the Company just completed constructing two barrow areas for cover dirt and sediment ponds for each barrow area. Lastly, 10 acres of the old Lunenburg County Landfill is in the process of being closed for post-closure monitoring requirements.

Foristell Transfer Station: Even the trash business needs cleaning up every now and then!

Our newly acquired Foristell transfer station just received a refreshing "face lift”:
  • New truck scale for accurate and efficient measuring
  • New scale house for customer and office administrative needs
  • New lighting both for the building interior and exterior improving safety and operational performance
  • Upgraded plumbing
  • Mantenance shop overhaul and upgrades

Meridian Waste Driver Receives Village of Parkway Performance & Compassion Award

The Meridian Waste Bridgeton Facility is proud to announce that Franklin County garbage route driver Joe Dunn was given a service award by the City of Parkway in special recognition for his dedication and service to the keep the Village clean and safe.  The award was presented on Thursday, September 26, at Village Hall by Lynnette Busse.

It's Career Day for the students of Step by Step Learning Center in Fernandina Beach, Fla. Children learned about trash and the importance of proper recycling from the experts at Meridian Waste. The Meridian Waste team was led by District Manager Dave Shepler who also brought out a truck for the children to view.

Container First Services Announces Employee of the Month Award
featured in Community, Team, and Facilities

Robert Taylor is a tenured roll-off driver who is the inaugural recipient and September’s Employee of the month.  He has worked within the ranks of CFS as a rear-load driver and now a roll-off CDL driver for over six years, with 20 years in the industry.  In his off time, Robert enjoys cooking out with his family and friends. He’s even inspired his son, Rojee Martin, to follow in his footsteps in the CFS residential department.
