On Earth Day 2022, Meridian Waste’s Eagle Ridge Landfill hosted its Great Big Earth Day Party welcoming over 330 neighbors and guests to highlight the features of our state-of-the-art municipal solid waste landfill and have some family fun. One of the environmental give-aways that we shared with our community were tree saplings and flower seeds.
More than 200 neighbors and community members helped Meridian Waste kick off Earth Month and the Easter season by attending our Big, Bright Earth Day Party and Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 at the Shotwell Environmental Park.

Meridian Waste's Lunenburg Landfill and Lunenburg County co-sponsored a tire recycling event to allow residents to clean up their personal property and dispose of unused passenger tires.
