ECO Waste, a Meridian Waste company, didn’t let a little rain dampen their holiday spirits as nine team members decorated and participated in the Powdersville, SC Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9th.
Meridian Waste gifted 127 turkeys equaling approximately 2,667 lbs. of Thanksgiving’s main course to neighbors contiguous or impacted by the company’s disposal operations at its six landfills throughout its six state footprint.
The William David Vaughn scholarship provides two scholarships of $1,500 to two students from Southern Alamance High School (1 athlete and 1 non-athlete).
Guests enjoyed pumpkin painting, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, face painting, and a free BBQ lunch. The main attraction was the pumpkin patch where guests picked a pumpkin and made a charitable donation which Meridian Waste generously matched. This year’s donation recipients are East Wake Education Foundation and Good Hope Baptist Church.
Meridian Waste Tennessee, LLC announced the acquisition of Patterson TnWaste Hauling to densify and expand the company’s roll off hauling footprint throughout the greater Knoxville region.
Tim Woods, Residential Supervisor for the Camden County, GA 5,000+ residential contract, accepted on behalf of Meridian Waste the County’s award and sincere appreciation for excellent service delivered in October and truly throughout the entire years of contract service.
