Snow place like home... The Tri-City Landfill is enjoying the beauty of the first snowfall of 2022.
Meridian Waste announced today it closed on the purchase of Dumpstars, LLC and Discount Dumpsters, LLC., in the greater Raleigh, NC marketplace effective December 30, 2021.

Meridian Waste strategically donated the proceeds of the 2021 Shotwell Landfill Charity Pumpkin Patch on Giving Tuesday, effectively doubling the financial benefit of the donations to the East Wake Education Foundation, Good Hope Baptist Church, and the Triangle Conservancy. All three charities are located in the Wendell community and are nearby neighbors of the disposal facility.
Shotwell C&D Landfill (Wake County, NC) just lit up the night in celebration of the holidays bringing joy and cheer to local residents traveling Smithfield Road on their daily commute home. The lights will stay lit through the New Years Day 2022.

Meridian Waste has kicked off Thanksgiving week by spreading joy through the Gifting of the Turkeys community initiative. Neighbors who live adjacent to the company's landfills will receive free holiday food provisions throughout the organization's operational footprint.
Meridian Waste Missouri LLC, is asking for the community’s help to collect new, unwrapped toys and gifts for Toys for Tots this Christmas season.
Fill the 40 is a Meridian Waste initiative to help collect items for causes in the community by setting a collection goal of filling their largest 40-yard container. Meridian Waste Missouri’s three locations are serving as official drop-off sites for Toys for Tots this year, collecting toys and gifts for children from ages one to 17 to help make the Christmas season brighter for local families.
Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served. For one day, we stand united in respect for you, our veterans. Meridian Waste Missouri recognized their Veteran employees on November 11, 2021.
