The curriculum had students learn about “BIG” trucks, how they operate and why they are needed. For ECO Waste, the message was clear: BIG trucks are needed to help keep the environment clean & healthy!
Last Friday, Sept. 6th, Meridian Waste Team Members John Franklin, Sales Rep, Tina Northington, Sales Manager, Nick Walker, Roll-Off/Frontload Supervisor and vendor partner Derrick Battles, Sales Rep for Clean Earth (pictured left to right) stepped up to the platform to raise awareness and funds for the The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers.
Meridian Waste North Carolina LLC welcomed more than 525 guests from the surrounding areas of Wake a nd Johnston Counties to the fourth annual Summer Splash Bash on August 3.
On March 1, 2024, Meridian Waste launched the fourth annual “Brightening the World” Earth Day Coloring Contest for children in two age groups: 5-7 years and 8-10 years. Our young participants were given artwork templates inspired by Meridian Waste’s commitment to clean communities, conveying to the young artists that by keeping the environment clean and green through proper waste management, they too can do their part for the planet. All children throughout the United States were eligible to participate.
Meridian Waste North Carolina is observing the end of summer at Shotwell Environmental Park by inviting neighbors, local schools, non-profits and civic organizations to the company’s environmental facility to enjoy fun in the sun while sharing the company's appreciation with the surrounding community.
We were happy to assist the Clara White Mission help fulfill their goal of providing “food for today… skills for life” to those in need. Meridian Waste always aims to help the communities in which we operate in whatever way we can.
Meridian Waste - Triad Hauling and the Tri-Corners-Corners Landfill participated as a Bronze Sponsor in the VFW of Alamance County’s annual fundraising golf tournament the first weekend of June.
On Friday, May 31st, Meridian Waste Virginia (Petersburg Hauling) was honored to receive FOLAR’s Business and Industry Award for the Company’s support of the organization over the last 24 years!
Mary O’Brien, Meridian Waste’s Chief Marketing Officer, served up hundreds of hot meals along with other local business and non-profit leaders to a portion of Jacksonville‘s homeless population in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Clara White Mission’s Miracle on Ashley Street. Meridian Waste participated as a sponsor and the company’s donated trash containers were a much needed asset to help clean up lunch!
Springfest’s purpose is to provide a family-friendly environment to allow neighbors and community members to visit the disposal facility, learn how waste is properly managed to protect the natural environment, and have fun.
